Hi guys,

Have just received a bunch of iMacs in really good condition. The listing covers everything you need to know spec-wise, but it also includes free shipping. Pick up is available if you're in Auckland.

They're ex-lease, from a New Zealand customer, have been fully cleaned and tested and have a fresh copy of the OS installed. They come with a generic keyboard and mouse.

100% positive feedback on TradeMe, 4.7 on Trust Pilot. Feel free to ring us, drop us an email or comment on this deal if you have any questions at all.

**FYI, the discount code will work for any product on the website. Single use, one per customer.

  • That's really good. But the HDD is a killer on modern macos.

    Fantastic computer for nana!

    • I was tempted, but yeah no SSD makes it a no go for me.
Forget about upgrading on those models, Apple make it nearly impossible

      • Moons ago I was a computer salesman at the tail end of intel imacs and every store in our company had a few 21.5" base model imacs returned because they were so incredibly slow. Afaik they were the only hdd mac you could buy at the time. I even had a customer say something like 'its an apple, it will be fast' and insist on buying one, then wanted it checked over for repairs / faults when it was as slow as described.

I think it was them moving to their own filesystem that caused the most issue. Very solid computers otherwise.

    • I think you're right; definitely a noticeable difference between the HDDs and SSDs. For a very basic user or someone who does most things via the cloud it should suit just fine :)

  • +1

Btw, for everyone - I'm an idiot. It's not a HDD. It's a Fusion Drive. Still not as fast as an SSD, but far better than an HDD

  • it's quite straightforward to replace with SSD. the main issue its not supported by latest OS

    • True - Ventura is still pretty current though. Sonoma has only been out a couple of months.

    • +1

It'a also easy to patch to the newest macOS with OpenCore Legacy Patcher

  • Just run your os off an external ssd plenty fast
