I think you could definitely fit. It has quite a few adjustment holes. The squarer head makes it look more like a watch compared to a Mi Band 6 for example.

Here's the watch (mind you with an after market strap) on my 7yo's wrist. The strap is on its smallest hole, and it's not too loose. The watch itself is a little oversize, tbh, but it's not completely out of the question.

Saw this advertised a few days ago so went in and got it for the boy. They did mention it’s not fully compatible with iPhone though, luckily it isn’t for me and he has an android
Not sure what you mean, connects to my iPhone using the Mi Fitness app perfectly fine
She said something about not all notifications showing up but I don’t see anything in description about it so maybe she was getting it confused with a different band 🤔
