Tandem carts for light children ($6-8) don't seem to be covered here but are usually $25 extra. I have heard that if your children are very light that they might be better off having a tandem experience so that they momentum to go fast though I have no idea how that works with pricing.

Important Information
- Cardrona summer 2023/24 season dates are from December 15, 2023 - March 3, 2024. The season dates are weather conditions permitting.
- A blackout period of 25 Dec 2023 - 7 Jan 2024 applies; you will not be able to use the voucher during these dates.
- Your carting voucher will be emailed to you after checkout.
- The minimum age to ride a mountain cart alone is 8 years old. Children under 12 years of age must be supervised by an adult.
- Ratio 3 children to 1 adult. Children under 100cm tall can ride with a parent at the parent's discretion.
- The maximum weight for mountain carting is 110 kg.
This is great fun. You do get covered in dust and there is a real risk of injury if you push too hard. We saw someone choppered off the mountain on the day we did it.
