                • @mikebb: Just check my phone it has multiuser also, seem like I can create unlimited multiuser? The only thing that annoy me is it keep changing my wallpaper whenever I switch user. Is there any others app that you use with the multiuser you find very good?

                  • @doubledippps: It changes the wallpaper when you switch user as the second user isn't aware of the first user, this includes settings such as the wallpaper. There is no such thing as an app for multiuser, it's a feature of Android itself. Some manufacturers disable it (for example Samsung)

  • Work for me, thank you

Still working. Good burgers. Nice to add pickles (doesn't cost extra). Only seem to get one slice of beetroot and feel like it could do with a little more.

    • +2

5 x Pickles (max) and Regular Onions for me :D Agree, lil stingy on the beetroot haha, occasionally they chuck in an extra slice or extra lettuce. I find going just before lunch rush 11.30 or 5pm before dinner rush they give a decent burger.

  • So how are people redeeming multiple of these? Same account on same device? Or need a new device and account?

    • How dare you even think about redeeming multiple burgers?! That's not the Cheapies.nz way! /s

  • Anyone experiencing issues with voucher not showing up in app after redeeming the unique code on the fax?

    • +1

Yes. I mentioned it yesterday as well in the comments. I think device is banned. I've been looking at the terms and conditions of this promotion. Nowhere does it say you cannot redeem more than 1 per device. It only states 1 per unique fax number. I've tried contacting Maccas Support via the app. No response…

      • Let us know.

      • The voucher wasn’t showing for me so I tried the same unique code on another device but sounds like it’s been redeemed. I’d be keen on hearing what Maccas Support has to say.. Keep us posted @NeverLucky

        • Have you guys redeemed any actual burgers yet? Or just redeemed the voucher and said success but not showing on deals page?

I would have thought it device is banned you wouldn't be able to access the app at all?

Hope you guys are not banned and just a glitch :(

        • @kiwipork Yup same case. It stopped working on the device and then I entered the same code on a device that was working and it said the code had already been redeemed. Logged out of that account and then tried another fresh account on the same "banned" device and it still wouldn't redeem. I have no idea what on earth is happening.

            @NeverLucky: :O :O

Mcdonalds should be working to fix the app rather than ban user/devices. They should be handing out free burgers to Cheapies finding these loopholes and helping them improve their app.

      • If you view terms and conditions in the app (can only do if you have the deal in your offers) it has a different set of terms and conditions and I believe it says one per person.

        • +1

This deal is valid for one Kiwiburger in the McDonald’s app only. Redeemable at any participating McDonald’s restaurant, subject to availability. This deal is valid once, in full. Limit of one deal or reward per transaction, per visit and not to be used to discount or in conjunction with any other deal or reward. Cannot be redeemed for cash and no change given. Excludes McDelivery®. This offer may not be distributed to or redeemed by a child under 14 years. Deal must be claimed by 13 February 2024.

          Doesn’t sound like it

@kiwipork Still haven’t received an email (put through a query via the Maccas app) but received this via their FB customer support.

      Classic response.

I tested a theory and I think it’s true. I made a brand new account on a brand new never installed Maccas app phone. I had 2 codes, but it would only allow 1 of them.

My guess is that they have made it so each device can now redeem only 1, and this was implemented once they started realising (purely just a guess). @kiwipork @Discount Code

    • This has been the case for a long time I think. For ”free” items, technically it's one redemption per account. Like the free nuggets day, one per account, per device.

      • This is something different though imo, nuggets were advertised as free and everyone can just go into deals and redeem it. The KiwiBurger is not. It requires you to fax in to get a voucher. Idk, just my opinion

        • I had an extra code too but didn't display the offer once it was successfully applied. I think it's true, possibly we're not banned but like you say 1 per account.

But I do agree, it was one voucher per unique fax rather than account. Since they realised so many people had fax machines haha they updated their coding I guess.

        • Yeah it's really up to maccas. That $3 Big Mac offer when the app first launched was also one per device.

Just letting y'all know that this is still going, I followed the 2talk guide and got two, one for me and one for my brother.

    • Yes for those who can't be bothered generating their own code, but back themselves to get an old phone from their drawer booted up and redeeming the codes, then sharing the shorter M_____ code for the in-store kiosks with me in a Cheapies PM at 9.30pm sharp when I'm off work, let me know!

I could maybe get a 'you give me one, I'll give you three in return' type of arrangement going. ;)

      • +1

        Pm me, I can help

  • Just tried and got a fax back saying the promotion is over or as they put it "gone-burgers".
    Oh well, worth a shot!

  • This is the reply you get now incase anyone is interested.
