    Cheap as chips!

    • Went to Hastings and they put no extra stock out and there was ONE left of the shelf lmao

      • My local is Hastings aswell, I made an order online of 11 pepsi max and 7 mtn dew and it said plenty were instock at the time (5.15am) no limits, but when i checked at 8.30am on my smoko break there were limits of 6 and still in stock at hastings and napier.

      • Did staff tell you or are you otherwise sure they no extra stock? I ended up quite late at Warehouse Lincoln Road, around 1730 so not surprised none left. There was a staff member taking crates of coke cans, not sure why but I noticed they had some empty boxes on a crate display which looked like they had been extra stock. I think they even had prices for the special there but not certain as I didn't photo given stuff members nearby. Later those empty boxes had disappeared and something else was where they were. I assume at the moment display space is at a premium so if it's not a shelf it may disappear during the day if they run out of stock and aren't adding more.

I didn't see any place for extra stock at Warehouse Henderson and they only had a single bottle left but I figured they might have too.

      • Napier store said there was some in stock, I didnt bother since they are 1.89 atm anyway so only saving 40 cents

  • Wish they had diet mountain dew at the warehouse, its hardly ever in stock at supermarkets. Will grab some pepsi maxs though, good price.

Its the lesser of two evils for me if i want to enjoy a soft drink, but thanks for pointing out its a POTENTIAL cancer risk and making me feel bad. I look forward to your comments on other food/drink deals that are posted where if not enjoyed in moderation can POTENTIALLY lead to other medical conditions also.

Fair call on the cancer thing but they’ve definitely been proven to be bad for the gut microbiome and can screw with insulin sensitivity, changing the way actual sugars are metabolised by the body!

But do whatever you like of course! There’s just a lot of little known studies around that PepsiCo have no interest in people knowing so it feels worth sharing.

          Live well friend!

@sno28: Its a deals site…. not a give people health advice and make them feel bad about the informed decisions they have already made site.

The lead investigator of the IARC report stated that the classification "shouldn't really be taken as a direct statement that indicates that there is a known cancer hazard from consuming aspartame. This is really more of a call to the research community to try to better clarify and understand the carcinogenic hazard that may or may not be posed by aspartame consumption."

        To be fair that says

"A can of diet drink typically contains about 200mg of aspartame. So a 70kg adult could drink 14 cans without going over the safe daily limit for aspartame."

        • If you drink too much water in one sitting you can die. Blows my mind how people the myths around artificial sweeteners have stuck around, despite even the study itself pointing out you would have to drink a near impossible amount to have any adverse consequences.

  • The JBL wave100 Headphones for $45 on 22nd are already $45 until end of december at Noels which is still TWL, and PB. go figure. "one day deals"
however OPs poster doesnt specify which waves as there are a couple models

    • Wave 200 it is. No active noise cancellation though.
