  • Is linking your Steam account a necessary part of the instruction? It told me I was in the draw immediately after registering.

    • IIRC I didn't require a linked account with Little Nighmares. Can't say it will be the same with this though.

Note that in any case AFAIK it's no longer possible for a number of years now for third parties to directly add games to Steam via linked accounts. They need to provide a key for you to redeem. So the most they can do is require you to link an account but you're then free to redeem it on some other account. See e.g. https://www.reddit.com/r/humblebundles/comments/12iwfvz/why_…

    • Looking more carefully, strictly speaking if you don't link your account they might just refuse to give a key when the time comes. But also if your selected country is Australia or New Zealand it might be the same thing. The rules basically say if you don't follow them, tough luck. No requirement on them to tell you you've failed to comply so hard to say if they're going to be strict.

Personally I'd at least link my Steam account and maybe also consider changing country especially if I don't have anything else on my Namco account. It's possible they'll also go by IP but that seems somewhat risky to me a recipe to annoy people who suddenly find they were denied unfairly if e.g. using a VPN or whatever else. (AFAIK they can't easily get your country of residence from a linked Steamed account.)

I'm always getting this error "The form contains errors" but it doesn't show what the error is.

    • Same here :/ - turned out I had an account I made 4 years ago huh

  • Interesting this comes about 2 years from the Little Nightmares giveaway and I got an email about my Namco account being deleted due to inactivity a few days ago unless I told them not to. Maybe it's just they like to giveaway stuff at the beginning of the year and just after the sales, but I also wonder if Namco Europe realised they needed to delete a lot of accounts and didn't want to and are using this as a way to keep them.

Just got an email tonight with a steam key and redeemed the game.
