    FYI
I recall there was a bit of a (slightly unusual) delay with the December promotion $10 bonus payout.
This time was immediately - no delay.

    • Came through right away here too

  • I'm just going to leave it.
Last time I didn't get my $10 and had to go through support.
First response from support was I must have bought it too late and all the bouns $10 were given out, support referenced an old date from the promo before.
Only after I showed proof I got it day 1 within hours of it going live and the actual date as per their terms and conditions did they give it to me.
I get my groceries from Paknsave and only sometimes goes to the Countdown close to work for lunch. Still haven't finished the last card.
For <10% it's not really worth it esp given Paknsave prices are usually >10% cheaper than countdown. Don't think any of the other companies involved are of much use to me

    • only worth it to bulk buy from countdown specials or buy wine (comparable price)

just using this to buy rubbish tag is good enough. But it is for Auckland people…

  • got mine bonus immediately

  • How do you use a digital prezzee card instore?

    • For Countdown, I typically print it off and then scan it at the self-checkout after choosing the gift card payment method. Can probably scan it straight off of your phone too.

      • Thanks, are you scanning the prezzee card or are you purchasing countdown gift card then scan at the checkout?

        • +1

          The latter.

Prezzee app. (Or website if you prefer).
Eg. I use the Countdown e-card either at the till or self help. Just select gift card at the terminal, scan the bar code of your e card (in wallet of your Prezzee app), enter the pin from that e-card. That’s it. Never had an issue; the staff can also assist.

  • Ok so just to clarify - this is a Prezee gift card which you can only use to buy another Prezee gift card for one specific retailer. It's not like a Prezzy card which is basically like a pre-filled Visa Debit card?

    • That is correct but I don't think there's an exclusion to buying the gift cards available at the GiftStation within Countdown/Woolworths.

    6.25% off, really worth it?

    • If you typically shop at Countdown or were planning to spend at least $150 at one of the other stores mentioned on the website, definitely.

    • hmmm worth it if I can spend it within 1-3 months:)

    • Low hanging fruit.

  • Was that rhetorical? Depends on individual.
