Getting a car for me and my brother, both of us are under 25
Looking at car insurance and pretty pricey for being young drivers.
Need some help choosing a insurance company for us which offers cheap car insurance

Try Initio if you have house insurance.
Check Cove and MAS - as an under-25 driver they're by far the cheapest I'm aware of.
Thanks, tried cove but doesnt insure for under 21s. MAS was slightly more expensive than AMI
Fair enough - I guess it varies region-to-region.
I second Cove - they don't insure high value (i.e over 80K) or sports cars, so their rates are one of the lowest I've found. Plus, differences in agreed value is next to nothing. i.e setting the value from 13k to 18k for the Subaru 2017 cost me an extra $80 per year.
Referral codes will also get you and the referee a free month, there is also multi-policy discounts as well (so you and your brother could go under the same plan), and a discount if you pay yearly vs monthly.

It seems anything with a turbo they consider a sports car as they won't insure my 2008 Subaru Impreza.
Oh, interesting :? Seems to depend on the make a well, i.e selecting the Haval H6 Hybrid (which is a 1.5L turbo) OR the H6GT (2.0L Turbo) had no issues. Must be very selective
We found the price of insurance was high on cars that are considered "desirable" to pinch. If you haven't purchased your car yet it is worth considering a "Nana" car. Perhaps put a couple of different cars in the quotes to see if that still makes a difference.

Sorry not really helping, but even as an over 25 I find it helps to shop around all the major insurers, AA, Tower, AMI and state. Unfortunately it's always more expensive for under 25s, especially if it's a powerful car
