Macro wise this is not the 'cleanest' protein but for the size and price don't think you will find better.

  • "Macro wise this is not the 'cleanest' protein" what do you mean by that

    • It's packed out with maltodextrin (carbohydrate) rather than being a higher % of protein powder. A bit odd to also have buttermilk powder.

      • Gotcha thanks, nothing crazy then

        • Nothing crazy. But there are some people who care about the protein % vs carbs.
Also if someone is doing keto they may not want to use this specific protein.
Personally I have used it for some time (since the Chemist Warehouse protein shot up in price) and found it to be good.
I am not on a massively carb restrictive diet though :)
Pack Nutrition and Trip Nutrition are both Xplosiv private label products.

Sugar content is super high. For every 39g of serving you get 5.9g of sugar. which comes up to 15g of sugar per 100g.

      For comparison:
      1. Muscletech Nitro-Tech 100% Whey Gold has 6g sugar per 100g.
      2. INC 100% Dynamic Whey has 5.8g sugar per 100g.

  • any benefits to this over a protein shake?

    • ahhh, this is protein powder that generally gets added to milk/water to make a protein shake? Unless you plan to dry scoop it straight into your mouth like an absolute alpha?!?

      • yea those powder.
i'm assuming these protein bars are there for those on the move or just to provide a change of flavour?

        • You can use the protein powder to make your own protein bars or pancakes or whatever baking if you get something like Vanilla flavour you can just flavour it however you want.

The premade shakes and bars cost you around $4 to $5 each where as a scoop of this is costing 72 cents per shake/serving for 58 shakes/serves.
