20

Ventured into costco today and there is a bunch of TV's on rebate - obviously selling off 2023 models.

The rebate ends TODAY, so youll need to get there before 830pm to take advantage (heaps of stock though).
There were also some cheaper TCL and Pana 43 and 50's but I concentrated on the bigger ones.

You can price match if you prefer buying from a local business.
I did so yesterday at Noel Leeming, just needed to show a photo of the shelf price and product in Costco.

      • Out of curiousity do Noels (for example) argue the toss on the $60 membership fee? Or is it a straight pricematch? Cheers

        • Usually not. When I was at Noels, when Costco first came for iPhone's all we asked was to see a pic of the price :).
Depends on manager for branch doe.

  • Samsung Q60C 65 inch QLED 4K TV probably on Samsung site for $2500, thay usually sell for around $1600. Heathcotes quite often have this model on special https://tinyurl.com/24lbuxv7 .

Just be aware that the Q60C model is the entry level in Samsung's QLED range and is a bareboned stripped back version of the models above it. It's missing quite a few features but the main ones are no vrr support or hdmi 2.1 for gaming, and the panel has a slow response time which means that if you're watching movies or playing games fast moving objects will appear blurry and you'll encounter ghosting artifacts in some scenes.

For $400 more you can get the top model of Samsung's non Neo qled range, the Q80C, from JB's which has all of the features that are missing on the Q60 as well as a much much better response time for the panel that eliminates any ghosting.

Personally I wouldn't touch either of these, I'd either bite the bullet and pay the extra $$$ for a Neo QLED which are much better televisions in every way, or if I wanted to stick below $2000 for a 65" I'd forget about Samsung's QLED range and go for another tv from either Samsung's range or another manufacturer.
