Did anyone have lost packages from Amazon?

I've ordered this sous vide and another item on Amazon AU and got stuck at this NSW Kemps Creek facility.
Shipping did not move and I had to refund and reorder again with fast shipping (as advised by the support)
Then again shipping did not move and got stuck again at the same place - customer support assures that it's going to be delivered but I feel like I'm losing hope on ordering from them.

Did anyone get their parcels stuck from Amazon like multiple times? I'm not even sure if I can ask (because it seems they're not actively giving) like a voucher for their shitty shipping. It's just the same cycle of order - refund - order that irks me out T_T

  • Have never had issues with ordering things from Amazon AU, maybe it's an issue with the specific seller you're buying from on Amazon? Or is Amazon AU the seller as well?

    • Actually yes me too until now! Maybe it is relevant to a specific seller from Amazon I'm not sure. Looking at the reddit articles online they said that it's maybe stuck at some sorting conveyor or something.

  • Very weird, never had that happen.
Did it ship both times with the same shipping company? (sometimes Amazon AU will ship the faster option via DHL, which is probably why support suggested it)

How long has the 2nd parcel been stuck for? Also who is the parcel shipping with? It should say on the amazon tracking page.

If it's auspost / nzpost (normaly is from aus), give them a call directly, they likely can see more details on why it's not moving (or get it moving).

  • Could just be a case of someone missing a scan so the parcel appears to not be moving when it's actually in transit. Had that happen before with Amazon where a parcel said it was still sitting in the Aussie warehouse 2 weeks after I bought it and then suddenly overnight the status updated to arrived in NZ.

How far past the expected delivery date has it been for the order?

  • Happened to me recently too. Item shipped out of US, no scans. Some weird AW####### tracking number that was supposed to be DPD, but DPD didn't know about it. Had to wait for a month to beg for a refund, but because it was part of a bigger order, they only gave me a partial refund that wouldn't cover the shipping… After 3 hours "chatting" being passed from one support person to another, I finally got someone who was able to refund and give me a "goodwill credit", so I can reorder the same item all again without paying extra for shipping. That item arrived 2 weeks later. A few days later, they sent me an email thanking me for returning the original item that I never got. As far as they're aware case closed, but Amazon is losing respect in my books - end of an era coming?
