Anyone Else Using The YouTube Premium Turkey Hack and Having Issues with Play Store Region Lock?

Setup: Dummy account acting as owner of YT Premium Sub with main accounts as family members.

Noticed the other day that I was unable to install apps on my main account from the Play Store which are region-locked to NZ. Upon investigating a little further I've discovered that apps are priced in TRY despite the payment methods, addresses, and account location settings all being set to New Zealand. There is no trace of Turkey on my main account at all as far as I can tell, which makes me think that it's somehow tied to dummy account's location.

Is anyone else in the same boat, or even better, have been in the same boat and fixed it?

    I have youtube premium through Turkey in my main account as I didn't have room for a dummy account in the family. All working smoothly so far. I haven't noticed any apps not working properly. Which app are you having trouble with?

      The TimeZone Fun app was what brought the problem to light, but I imagine any NZ region locked app will throw me the same issue. My partner has the same problem so I'm thinking I need to do something with the dummy account's location.

        I have another Google account that I swap to once in a while to install or update NZ locked apps.

        Nobody in my family has complained about any apps not working properly but then again they're not buying anything. I haven't yet come across any apps loading up the wrong currency
