Hey all, after been caught in Turkey, jumped over to Nigeria as suggested. Been working for a couple of months. Actually got charged about a week ago as normal.
Logged on today to be told my account was inactive, tried to reactivate it using the same VPN etc and can get to the payment page but it won't take any payment method including the previous working one. Back to the something wrong with your payment method message.
Anyone else having an issue? And if it is dead what's latest best option?
I cant seem to get past the phone number bit for Turkey when I tried previously - all the online ones I have seen seem blocked - even the paid options.
Yeah some people had instructions that worked on the phone verification but it was a lot more work and no guarantee you'd not get deactivated later on.
I just went "f it" and went netflix gift card route (e.g. turgame). All you need is a credit card to buy the cards and then enter straight into netflix. ezpz.
Same here, mine suddenly stopped.workong this week and I've not got around to working out why. Logging in as Nigeria it reports is pricing now so wondering if they abandoned the region. Considering going to the turkey via turgame vouchers others are still reporting success with using.
I can still see all the pricing etc - just cant get any payment card to work - tried NZ Card, AU Card, Wise Card etc - Visas, Mastercard etc - all give an error
Weird I can't get pricing, Turkey and India still give me local pricing but Nigeria is $23us as are most other regions.
I think going Turkish vouchers will have to do for now but thinking they seem to be clamping down more and more on the tourism. Might have to revisit the old Plex server I haven't had plugged in for a while as I'm wrestling with getting Disney plus back up and running now that's not cheap either.
If you can’t update your payment method do it via the Chat. That seems to be how my Mrs restarts ours when it’s on the fritz
Same. Was active for about 1 month and 2nd month payment gone through on 25th May. Logged on 28th to find that it's gone to "re-subcribe" page.
I'm on the 4th month of using Turkey gift cards. Its a little more work than set and forget like good old days but Turkey sub is still cheaper than NZ netflix and (touch wood) no issues with this payment method.
