  • To be fair it's just a standard $75 Temu one with Russell Hobbs written on it. The rrp is hilariously bogus, the usual trap for stupid people.

    • Yeah its funny seeing products sold at warehouse and other places on Temu

True, RRP is ridiculous, but buying here will get you the NZ CGA cover and warranty?

    • I'm on my 3rd unit replacement now, 5 years going. They are designed to last give or take around 2 years.

How do people think the Russell Hobbs air fryer compares to the breville for $99?

stay away from that air fryer, I bought one and the coating inside the basket and on the grille base started peeling after roughly 3 months. took it back and lady who served me at the time said that its a common issue..

    • Our Kmart air fryer is due an upgrade after a few years of regular use, so hopefully this one does the job for another few years! Thanks OP!

      Same, really poor quality.

Its a very common issue, because certain people think they'll just use a fork to grab that sausage… and whoops 'scrape'. Once the coating is compromised, it might as well go in the trash. Had this model running for about 10 months, until some dumbass thought they didn't have to use the silicone coated tongs because they had to be cleaned first. They made a 1cm slit on the coating, and within weeks, pieces were flaking off. Went in the trash.

    • What did you replaced it with? Yeah the coating is terrible. I always use baking paper now on mine.

      • replaced it with this one

it was on special at the time though, 60% off i think it was
I am very happy with it

        • How's the teflon coating holding up? They look very similar, could it come from the factory and just badged differently?

      • HUH so u put baking paper in a airfryer

        • Yeah I got pre holed and sized baking parchment, so my food won't get those teflon flakes

Go Philips or you will have to replace it later on
