I Can't Buy Anything Eufy on AliExpress

At the moment I am getting this message across all the eufy range. Cameras, trackers, etc. Started out with a few things, now it's everything. This has happened before for the odd individual item, but usually it came back again the same day or within a day or 2. This time it's more persistent and it seems to be affecting everything. Just wanted to check if it's the same for everyone, or if I attempt to make a new account to see if there is a problem with my current one. Thanks!

It's the same for me as well "This product can't be shipped to your address. Select another product or address. "

  • I had eufy items in my cart, they have now been removed saying unable to ship to your address

    • These aren't on Temu.

    • Not everything is on Temu. Especially some good branded electronics stuff for sure.

Same here. Very annoying as I had a couple of Eufy items I wanted to get.

Same for me. Seems a bit odd. Also unavailable if you change your country to Aus, USA, UK or France but delivery is available for Canada, South Korea and Austria.

  • You could ask the store. Maybe it's a mistake (or maybe it's because they are available from brick-and-mortar store in NZ like HN and PB Tech).

  • Amazon lists this as the same price as JB hi-fi

    https://www.amazon.com.au/eufy-Security-Wireless-Compatibili…

  • Thats frustrating, having bought in to this platform. No way I'm paying the NZ prices for this gear, getting it through Ali was great.

Links are working again now. Maybe someone complained.

  • I just had a camera delievered this week… haven’t had any problems adding to cart as yet.

Looks like everything has been removed from the store/is out of stock.

I managed to order a camera yesterday though.

  • So we've been blocked as a shipping destination then. I notice the listings are still there if you check other countries' version of the site

    • Looks like I can only buy homebase 3. rest all are blocked.

Things are coming and going. Over the past 14 days I've been able to buy s340, s330 with homebase, 2c camera, homebase 3. Then some have become unavailable again. When they are available you are usually limited to 1 item only. But you can just buy 1, then another, then another. So not sure what the point of that is.

      • Good to know, I'll keep an eye out

  • I haven't been able to buy anything other than the Homebase now for well over a week.

    • If you are after an outdoor camera, the SoloCam S340 is available. It's a good product, good price at the moment.

      • It doesn't ship here now 🤦🏻‍♂️

      • I have one and can vouch for it. Love that it has separate solar panel for better placement. I have mine for around 7+ months and battery is always around 95%+. Haven't missed an event, though it picks up movement outside of the zones once in a while.

      • Agree, swapped out an s330 with the s340 over the weekend. Unbelievable the amount its picking up in comparison. Managed to order through Ali.

After a couple door sensors but see not currently listed.

        • When did you last order the S340 via Ali? Haven't been able to do so for over 2 weeks. I have 3 installed so far.

          • @Discount Code: It was 23rd June - $176 after whatever discounts were running - and arrived early last week. Things were going in and out of availability then, but seems to have got worse since.

            • @Madao: Yeah I grabbed one around that time too. Next time it comes back I'm not going to hesitate and order 2 more.

              • @Discount Code: Looks like its available to order/ship to NZ today - $200.74 before any other discounts

                • @Madao: Says unavailable when trying to checkout for me.

                  • +1

@Stoic: Yep, I stand corrected. I thought previously it said on the product page "unavailable to ship to your location" or something. Thats not there now but yep an error when trying to progress it to checkout.

I recently purchased two Eufy S330 Floodlight cameras in a single order from AliExpress. However, when the package arrived, there was only one camera inside. The tracking number indicating that the order was complete. Over the next 3-4 weeks, I engaged in numerous discussions with AliExpress/Eufy Official Store customer service, trying to resolve the issue. Despite providing all necessary evidence, my dispute was ultimately rejected, leaving me out of pocket by $300.

    • How did you pay, can you do a credit card charge back?

    • Often they send 2 items in separate packages. It shows as delivered as far as ali are concerned, but on the delivery page you will see 2 tabs. Package 1 and package 2. So I would double check that. All might not be lost.

  • I messaged the Eufy store about this and they just said that AliExpress is responsible for their shipping. I then asked Ali chat support and gave up after they kept asking for my order number that I couldn't even create.

No local retailer has exclusivity over the brand, so I'm curious why they're no longer shipping here.

Could it just be due to the power supplies, which actually were illegal?

    • Could it just be due to the power supplies, which actually were illegal?

Why do you say the power supplies were actually illegal? What made them so?

      • You can't sell devices with foreign plugs here - this is why they were getting removed from things like the Google TV Chromecast

        • You can't sell devices with foreign plugs here - this is why they were getting removed from things like the Google TV Chromecast

I've only had one Eufy piece of kit, and I don't have it anymore (sold it with the house it was attached to), but I am fairly sure it came with an NZ / Aus plug in the pack?

    • The S340 I got in the past couple weeks, and im pretty sure the other cams before that, didnt come with power supplies in the box, its just a usbc connection for charging

    • Homebase 3 was available recently, as I mentioned above. That doesn't come with NZ adapter, as far as I can say. Atleast mine didn't few months back

      • If you change countries the shipping still isn't available so something is up. Not just NZ.

    • It is not illegal to sell items overseas with foreign wall plugs and supply to New Zealand. Nor is it illegal to import items from overseas with foreign wall plugs. You only are not allowed to sell items within New Zealand with foreign wall plugs. If you refer to one of the posts above you will see it's not just New Zealand that these items are currently not shipping to. Personally I think it's just some kind of supply issue. I mean I ordered a homebase 3 yesterday, with a foreign plug, and checking just now you still can.

Interestingly NZ as a country is a top buyer of these products, according to their own statistics. We usually account for 8-15% of all sales on these things. That's really punching above weight going by our population size. So you would think they must have noticed their sales to NZ have stopped.

      • I was just reaching for a possible reason

  • As of tonight when I am writing this message, Homebase 3, S330 cameras with or without base station, s350 camera, and S340 camera are available again. You are limited to one of each item. Not cheapest ever prices, but not horrible either. Didn't check on other items like doorbells etc.

    • Just ordered an s350. Neighbour had an intruder at the weekend and the internal camera they have snapped a good enough pic that the local fuzz instantly recognised the culprit.
edit Should also add, to answer one of the earlier suggestions, its coming with a UK power supply apparently. Choice was UK or EU. So looks like thats not the reason for them to stop shipping the majority of their products here.

Other than the products you mention there's nothing else currently available via Ali.

Had to resort to ordering a couple door sensors from Bunnings through Powerpass at $50.70 each. Kicker as I think I paid $20 odd each through Ali a few months ago. Need a motion sensor too, which Bunnings dont appear to do, so off to Supercheap Auto it is at the weekend looking at local prices.

  • Most probably getting complaints about price undercutting from local retailers haha.

  • I can't buy anything from the Choice pick 3 on Aliex. I can pick three items but when I try to checkout it says either "You haven't picked the required amount of items" or "This item can't be shipped to the selected region.". I can buy Choice items that are not in the pick 3 promo.

This started happening yesterday - previously I have had no problem ordering from this promo.

Just enquired again with Eufy and got the below message:

    Hi!

Thanks for supporting Eufy products. Sorry to say this package cannot be shipped to your destination country due to some shipping limitations currently.

Please note that you can follow our store, so that you can be notified as soon as the transportation channel is opened.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you. Have a nice day!

    • Helpful isn't it? And makes no sense at all.

There may be some ructions with NZPost at present across all these temu/ali suppliers. My Aramex driver told me NZPost had lost the contract for delivery. Apparently they were sick of delivering Chinese imports for nothing. Aramex and NZcouriers do indeed seem to be delivering my incoming stuff rather than NZPost at the moment. I guess there could be a chance that is the reason. But you would think other products could be affected as well in that case.

      • The upside is more Temu free shipping credits/refunds if Aramex gets overwhelmed

  • I was able to order an S340. Good price too I think.

    Can't buy anything now.

    • Yup. homebase 3 and at least 1 of the indoor cameras was available until a few days ago. Now looks like nothing at all. I've just got everything I'm interested in in my cart. That way it's a quick check to see if any come available again.

Finally have a full explanation, not ideal but it is what it is:

Thank you for reaching out with your question.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.

The reason we are currently unable to offer items from our AliExpress store to New Zealand is due to recent changes in shipping regulations and restrictions related to the transport of products containing built-in batteries. Specifically:

    • Regulatory Compliance: New Zealand has introduced stricter regulations for shipping lithium-ion batteries and other battery-powered products to ensure safety and prevent potential hazards during transportation.

    • Shipping Restrictions: These regulations impose limitations or prohibitions on certain products, particularly those with built-in batteries, due to the complex handling and packaging requirements needed for safe transport.

    • Carrier Policies: Shipping carriers have updated their policies regarding the shipment of battery-containing items. These changes can affect their ability to deliver such products to New Zealand, impacting our ability to process and fulfill orders to that region.

However, some items may still be eligible for shipping to New Zealand, depending on the specific product. If you have a particular item in mind, please let us know, and we can verify its shipping availability for you.

We understand this situation may be inconvenient and sincerely apologize for any disruption it may cause. We are actively working to find solutions and hope to resume offering our products to New Zealand in the future.

Thank you for your understanding. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to contact us.

    Best regards,

  • Thanks Manu. Doesn't explain why all the items without batteries are also not available? For example the wired cameras and homebase. But I guess they've just gone "Meh too hard to separate out, we just won't send anything"

But they are correct. When I ordered before none of these products had the correct Li-ion battery paperwork and stickers. It's not a new thing, suppliers have been required to do this for years. In my experience China has always been not bothered to comply with any of these regulations until someone slaps them. Even then they usually just shrug, chalk it up to an acceptable loss and carry on like usual.

This isn't just a "New Zealand" thing either. The rules are worldwide. I guess they are saying NZ is one of those places that takes more responsibility than some countries.
