Where Do People Buy Their Hoodies from That Aren't Like $60+

Ive noticed that the Hallensteins hoodies have gone down in quality

  • Check for clearances as well. There's a link on Cheapies that shows you clearance links for various stores.

  • Adidas Outlet when on sale

    • This one looks perfect. It's 89.99 currently, What's the lowest price you've ever gotten it for? Thank you.

      • Just checked my online receipts and it looks like I paid $100.00 - May 2023.
Still have it and still in regular use, still comfy, I am tempted to get another.

    ASColour

    • ASColour++

Especially when you find something in the sale section. $30 hoodies, $25 crew necks.
I think 90% of my clothing is ASColour now.

      • Plus add five get 25% off. Or add a couple and then add some pens to make it five items. Code THEDEAL

  • Champion Reverse weave are good quality and they will often do the 40% off sale on clearance items.

    • Agreed. Best quality hoodies I have ever had, and an absolute steal when on clearance. I managed to score a few of their crewnecks for $9 on clearance a couple of years ago (possibly a pricing error, but they sent me all 4) and they are fantastic.

Bought one from wiggle u.k. it was $60 but also 60% off and nicest hoodie ever. It will last longer than a cheaper one and nicer to wear so there's the good value

    • What type of hoodie did you order from wiggle?

    • A trip down memory lane… I remember the OG v1 Ultraboost getting stocked on that site for $180ish. Easily flipped to sneakerheads here for 250-300. Completely forgot about Wiggle

Heres the link to mens hoodies.
They also have awesome deals on sports shoes. Actually got the hoodie to get free shipping on some shoes

  • Mine from AliExpress from Zhenweiclothing Store the 500gsm one was like $57 incl GST for mine it's really nice. I've had it for 2months now and it's super warm. I thinks very likely to be 500gsm it's really heavy and warm lmaoo. I got recommend it from a Reddit thread. The stitching is really high quality as well. I got mine in 4xl as I sized up twice I'm usually 2xl. The fit is slightly oversized but the material really has a nice shape. Idk my last comment won't let me put a link xD I'll try again lol 😂

    • I usually wear size M, but based on weight they recommend me size XXXL :D

      • lmaooo xD thats extreme bahahaha

      • u have them massive gains aye ;)

    • how would you size based on NZ sizes? e.g. Small NZ = XL Aliexpress?

      • It should be 2 sizes up like I'm 2xl NZ hoodies so 4xl is perfect from AliExpress for me :D

There are a number of Rivers branded hoodies for sale on OnceIt with free shipping and an extra 20% off in cart. Makes them about $13-$15 delivered. There are heaps of other Rivers items for sale too. Link to hoodies and sweatshirts here.

  • Some very cool and cheap hoodies on temu.
    https://www.temu.com/ul/kuiper/un2.html?_p_rfs=1&subj=un-sea…

  • Sometimes getting the temu app you can get a voucher for $60 off a $100 spend. And free shipping.
Though the track pants I got last year are fairly thin the look and quality is fine and ok for summer.

Got 4 hoodies off temu $71.
Look great, will update with the quality when they arrive.

    • We have grabbed a few clothing items from Temu/Aliexpress before and the fabric (we have found) is pretty light weight (non cotton poly fabric) and not what we would usually associate with a reasonable quality hoodie in NZ. They are fine otherwise though. ymmv.

Agree, my trackpants are the same.
Good value for money, i picked only winter weight hoodies and avoided autumn/winter or other season hoodies. So hopefully reasonable weight fabric.
Good tip for buying clothing from temu I guess. Only buy winter weight in the description but don't expect too much

      • Depends on the listing. I have a double-layered 100% cotton hoodie from AliExpress that weighs over a kilogram (for an NZ Medium). I'm pretty sure it's the densest hoodie you can buy from anywhere for under $200 or so (it was $60 or $70 shipped).

        • Yeah its the old adage of you get what you pay for. My comment was just to balance or set expectations that if people are buying a $12 hoodie then there is likely to be a reason for that (ie the material) so dont be surprised when it comes in at a lighter weight than what you would normally get in NZ. If you pay more you will likely (hopefully haha) get more.

  • The post yesterday about hunt tech sale.
They have $90 hoodies for $27. Dark grey only.
    Worth a look?

The 4 hoodies from temu arrived.
2 of the 4 are decent weight material. One is corduroy and another Camo print fleece. Will be buying more fleece ones and only winter type in the description it did help
