It's random - nothing for me either.
The winners are selected based on a preselected random timestamp, so the closest person to that time wins.
Just make sure you enter daily and cross your fingers.My one win was just after 8am so guessing start time for random selection is after at least 8am. I was avoiding too early in case it was coded to be 9am - 5pm for example.
iirc mine was bang on 11:45am (had also entered at 11:43 not knowing it was winnign time based) so it might not be as random as you think

The random winning times seem to be right after every 5min period so its worth entering seconds after 9:05, 9:10, 9:15 etc to have the best odds possible until you eventually get lucky.
