I was going to top up today using ither my expiring Caltex or mobil app rewards discount. But what suddenly happens midday….! Perhaps we shouldn't be surprised: a nice (for fuel businesses !) convenient 91 pump price rise (rise !), by all 3 "competing" (LOL) stations in Auckland east : Mobile Epsom. Caltex's Epsom and Newton. 3 cents more to the pump price to $2.70 P/L !. And even more interesting it's all on a late June 15c off Gull day…. So just before the Auckland Regional 12c p/l fuel tax is due to expire - off July 1st…. Hmmm 🤔
I just fill up at who ever is the cheapest and most convenient to me. So sick of all the loyalty crap.
