15 days isn't very long if you wanted to visit multiple cities. So I'm guessing you could stay 15 days in China, then go to Hong Kong or Macau for a few days, then return to China to restart the 15 days?

You can install and setup Alipay from Playstore before you leave, worked fine for us. Not sure about WeChat but assume it's the same deal.
Ah bummer. Just landed back in NZ from China, could've done a side trip to HK then back to the mainland the last few days. Anyways time to book another trip.
FYI Wechat pay and Alipay both work BUT my Wechat pay was blocked after about 8 days for not being linked to a Chinese bank account. Went back to Alipay and that worked. Tread carefully…
