  There's an Lpg option in gaspy. Not sure if those are the prices for bottle refills but I would guess so.

    I like your thinking, but that is for vehicles that run on LPG. I believe the bottles have to be refilled under stricter conditions (hence the swap n go).

  Last time I passed, Caltex Papakura (opposite the old RSA building) had them for, I think, $23 / $24, but that was at least a month ago, and maybe more, so don't go (out of your way) without confirming the price first, as I might be completely wrong and / or out of date!

  I remember thinking "that's cheap" at the time.

  Piggybacking on this - who is everyone using for their 45kg bottles? Matagas - who I've found to be the cheapest - is unfortunately not accepting any new customers

        So its more expensive than the others, one last option i can think of is ELGas which is running a winter special now with free annual rental….

          @falloutshank: I seem to recall OnGas being an option some years ago - no idea if they are still around and what their prices might be though.
