Was playing with filters, realised I could get all this out in a nice table for reference. Naturally a few lines of python code and we got ourselves a list of all products on clearance under $3.50. (hat tip to the Loch Ness monster)

Hard part is finding something you want in-stock at your local, and hoping that the website isn’t lying about stock availability.
+ed for the effort! I would guess there's some amazing deals to be had if this was done regularly.
Is there any way to scour the catalogue for biggest price drops, since they list the "was" price?
Bookmark the clearance page, check it every other day and keep an eye on the number of items listed. One way to go about it. A few of the items listed above have been there for a while, so unsure how often it changes.
PriceGrabber has some items listed, but it's bugger all really.
I started to do that, but not every item had a "was“ price so I skipped that. Maybe next time.

The 'Character Bodysuit' is actually a 30 pack of fridge labels, for instance.
