The Chase UK Board Game $10 + Shipping ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ The Warehouse

120

No idea if this is any good but it's down to $10 - usual price $45.
By comparison, Paper Plus has it for $49.99.
Free Click & Collect if it's available at your local, otherwise it's $2.99 to be sent to you store or $6.99 delivered.

In this family board game, players must stay one step ahead of the Chaser, ruthless and brilliant quiz geniuses determined to stop you winning…….at all costs. Begin by starting the electronic timer and answering a minute's worth of quick fire questions to build up to £50,000 in the Cash Builder round.

Now it's time for each contestant to face and go head to head with one of the four Chasers. Will you compete against The Beast, The Destroyer, The Governess or The Sinnerman? If players answer questions correctly they can move one step away towards safety, but a Chaser answering correctly moves one step closer to catching you. If the Chasers catches the contestant, they lose their chase. The player who successfully evades capture with the most amount of money makes it through to the Final Chase, a nerve racking question round to win the banked cash……but only if they can escape The Chaser's relentless advance.

  • I have this game. It's pretty unbalanced (the rate at which the chasers get them wrong vary a lot) and feels like it was very cheaply produced. That said it was a bit of fun one Christmas.

When did the Warehouse start charging $3.99 for Click and collect?
I will leave my order in the cart and see what happens, I am not paying to wait while they find it and go and get it, usually a good 15 minutes.

They have done this for a while now.
It drops to $2.99 if you are a Market Club member and is free if you’re local store has it in stock already.

It sucks but is just following the likes of Farmers, Briscoes etc who have done this for a while.

There is two sides of this coin, one side is since they turned their website into a 3rd party market place so 3rd party products are not shipped by the wharehouse, so there was the first fee. You can filter during search for the warehouse or thrid party products only and you can see if its a 3rd party vendor once you go into the product, inside the square that has the product price, at the top of it will say the wharehouse or the vendor name/link. Then, there is the big TWG debacle, they started charging the freight fee for moving a product for you to collect it at the branch of your choise, pretty lame. Both things show how bad things are at TWG if you ask me. Sounds like they will try to pull a Nido type of sale/liquidation some time in the future, a "mega sale" where nothing will be cheap at all cos the will try to recover every single penny they just flushed down the drain with their poor strategies.
