  • As an aucklander (Henderson), is it ok to price match with Papakura or Dunedin pns webpage?

    • +1

Yes but The Warehouse doesn’t sell the Dunedin eggs mentioned above.

      • Colony Eggs Size 7 12 Pack $2.591
      • Colony Eggs Size 6 18 Pack $3.79
      • Colony Grade 7 18 Pack $3.89

      1. The Warehouse is Cage-Free Barn Eggs. PNS is Colony.

  • PnS Papakura has been running frequent egg-related daily specials for more than a week now, there seems to be a major oversupply of Woodland and Farmer Brown eggs.

Why Knot also has Woodland 10s (I think Size 8) for $4.

    • Similar (Woodlands) deals at PNS Invercargill, Kilbirnie, Blenheim, Moorhouse, Silverdale.

    • Check the best before dates. Mine were closer than normal when I checked back home. Could be cancelled orders from struggling or closed down cafes/restaurants.

Farmer Brown and Woodland are Zeagold brands. They're based half an hour north of Dunedin at Waikouaiti. No surprise Dunedin has the best pricing and variety of discounted eggs.

  • Woolworths also have 8 pack of Farmer Brown size 6 eggs for $5, but it's a members only deal because it's such a great bargain they can't do that kind of price for civilians. To the average person this may seem expensive $5 for 8 eggs when you can get 18 for $3.79 just down the road at Pak'n'Save, but you have to remember that you also get 5 Everyday Rewards points for spending $5, and those 5 points are worth nearly four whole cents! Great price.

  • Couldn’t even price match this morning because it went off sale
