  I've been looking at 65" with good performance in sunny room, leaving towards lcd over oled.

  The Sonys seem like better value currently?

    I honestly havent looked at any other brand due to the EPP deal currently on the QN85.
    Current special comes with a free S700D sound bar and sub.
    The EPP price is about 40% of the RRP on the Sammy website.

  When it comes to TV's
  Mini LED is better in brighter environments where you don't have better control over lighting conditions

  OLED can still perform just fine but driving them at full brightness constantly is not ideal.

    Mini LED on it's own isn't that good. It's just a different way of backlighting a traditional LCD panel.

    It needs to be coupled with quantum dot tech to be halfway decent.
