I can’t comment on that model, but it looks like that is on the Kogan Australia site.

Heathcotes have another variant of the turbo for $399 at https://www.heathcotes.co.nz/products/33862-bissell-spotclea…

Using the Bissell turbo here - works amazing

    • Thanks for that. Helps make a confident purchase

my daughter swears by her bissell turbo too, we have the full size one which is great too, but a pain to get out for small spills.

      • +1

And as our one is nearly 10 years old, we can still get parts when needed from Bissell.

        • +1

          Thats epic. So good!

another vote for the Bissell turbo, 3 dogs and 2 kids and this keeps the carpets and mats clean stain/spot free.

  • Might kill 2 birds with one stone. Has anybody tryedbone of these.

I have this Vax one and it's been fantastic - definitely got my money's worth from it with a toddler and a dog who loves mud.

I have a Bissell Spot Cleaner and I'm kinda disappointed by it to be honest. It didn't take out the stain.

I also tried the Bissell Pre-treat spray for pets and left it for a few hours before suctioning the stain, didn't work. Some people suggested leaving it 24 hours, so I tried that, didn't work either. Tried a few pet stain sprays with good reviews, no luck. I think the original pee stain is gone, but the new stain I have now is from the product itself.

    • how old is the stain at the time?

      • Only a few days old

I have both the big Bissell and the spot cleaner. Can't recommend enough. No matter which one you buy (each store has their own exclusive model, so shop around), they all work the same. It just depends on which attachments you need (and usually the basic ones have all that you need). Best investment ever. The one you saw is not really much of a stretch compared to the normal models.

Shame they don't do this one in NZ anymore. 2-in-one.

Now, I saw this at Kmart for those who are budget conscious. The reviews are pretty okay for an item that cheap. Putting it here just in case others may bump into one and be interested.

fwiw people in fb groups are obsessed with that Kmart one. in a good way

  • I'd recommend looking at a full size cleaner rather than a spot one, as with animals and kids around, it'd very much be worth cleaning all of your carpet. You'll be truely shocked by what those things pull out.

    • I got the hoover power scrub upright. Holy moly i was grossed out hahaha. Its pulled so much outta the carpet. Had no idea they were that bad. Happy with my purchase. It works very well

I initially bought my upright (the Vax from Bunnings) for an emergency spot purpose because I saw more value price-wise in it (~$300 for spot vs $450), and yeah, the first time I used it to actually clean the full floor I was horrified. Even the feel of the carpet was different afterwards, I couldn't believe it. I now run it through monthly.

I think these full size cleaners should be considered as essential for anyone that has carpeted floors

        • Does the upright one come with attachment for stairs?

          • +1

@ace310: Mine came with an upholstery wand and hose, which could be used for stairs, it gives it the functionality of a spot cleaner

          • +1

@ace310: Yes my one has a hose attachment and different ends just like a spot cleaner. Havnt tryed it out yet though. I attached a link up above

            • @Lifeissupa: I am more looking at upright one, as primary use would be bedrooms & stairs. But would like to get one only which can do both.

              • @ace310: Yeah i went for the upright that can do both from bunnings with attachments to do couchs etc.

                https://www.bunnings.co.nz/hoover-power-scrub-xl-carpet-wash…

                • @Lifeissupa: I was looking at this Bissell one. Seems like it is rated higher than the hover. Just not sure which is would be good.

                  https://www.harveynorman.co.nz/home-appliances/vacuums-and-f…

                  • @ace310: I was looking at the one to. You should buy it. I just was a bit limited with funds.

                    • @Lifeissupa: So you reckon Bissell one is better? As a fellow cheapie, I don't want to spend more either but if little more can give me much better performance I would take it.

                      • @ace310: The bissell tanks are bigger, and the turbo brush is different.
I've only cleaned the lounge, which came up well. I have not done the couchs yet, waiting for a warmer day. So cant comment on how well the hose attachment works. But i was impressed with how well the hoover went so far.

@ace310: We have a Bissell, never regretted it. Have had it over 10 years, can still get the parts when needed from Bissell

                        • @Kate1: That's good to hear. Is it easy or difficult for clean up of the machine? Reading at all the reviews, hoover seems to be easier for regular use and clean up.

                          • +1

@ace310: Easy, but have never used a different one so have nothing to compare

                  • +1

@ace310: Bissell is definitely a good brand. Well i think so anyway.

I have a Bissell SpotClean Professional and a Ryobi 20l wet and dry Vac, 9/10 times I use the Vac to clean the dog's "accidents", so much more power and it's not that much louder.
