Samsung AmEx Deal - anyone claimed purchasing from both EPP and Samsung store?

Hi cheapies,

Hopefully someone knows or has done this

This is in relation to the Amex Samsung deal that was been posted here previously - spend $500 get $100 back. The T&Cs says "spend 500 or more, in one or more transactions" - Does anyone know if I split the the $500 over two transactions - 1 via Samsung store and one via EPP - whether that would work?

edit Just to clarify - I mean if I split my $500 purchase over the two sites (i.e. $300 on Samsung and then an addtional $200+ on EPP), whether that would still qualify for the cashback. I don't expect to get two lots of cash back.

I've seen comments in other posts that the AmEx deal does work via EPP - but I assume this was from people making a single purchase of $500 or more…

      Just did this on EPP and got my $100 cashback 2 days later. And yes, just one-time use as now the offer shows claimed in my app.

        Interesting… My interpretation of the quoted T&Cs is that you can make multiple transactions to get upto the $500 limit..

        To clarify my question, it's around whether there's a distinction between EPP and normal Samsung store. And whether if I spent say $300 on the Samsung site the made another $200 on the EPP site if that would work.. I'm not expecting to get more than the one $100 cashback by shopping at both sites.

      That's a shame.. I've had some really good deals through the EPP site, which is the main reason I keep buying their products… Haven't had one go bad yet - touch wood.

      Samsung customer service is next level bad it's a shame because their hardware is generally excellent. Their software not so much.

      I totally understand this and am in a similar frame of mind - their care factor is negligible - I only consider Samsung as an option now IF the price point is so good that I effectively can write off any care for wanting to recover or chase any issues with whatever that product is, or if there is literally no other viable option.
