They've recently launched an Australian store with a welcome sale through August 31.

There was fairly limited cards available at launch but there is nearly 300 cards now listed on the site.

These are (mostly) screen free audio players where kids insert NFC cards to play whatever is on them, with a pixel representation of the current track, big tactile volume / select track knobs, and support for playing bluetooth audio or outputting to either bluetooth or cabled headphones.

Their cards (albums / playlists / audiobooks) are mostly about $15 - $20 each (or ~$50-60 for bundles of six or so), but the smart play seems to be getting a few make your own cards(au.yotoplay.com) and curating your own.

There is a referral system I have requested to add to Cheapies. Referee gets 10% off 1st purchase (min. $99 spend). Referrer gets 1500 tokens (worth $15) per order.

  I recommend these - in particular the mini size for younger kids. Easier to manipulate and carry around. Keen to add my referral code to cheapies too.

  Yes I've got a referral code too which I'd love to add. We've had our Yoto players for close to 3 years now and they're still absolute favourites. Utilising Borrowbox and other digital libraries has meant we have lots of content variation without investing hard on the cards - We have 2 players and 20 Make-Your-Own cards and that is us sorted!

  My 4yo is sick today and has spent the whole morning in his room listening to stories without any help from me while I work, it's incredible!
