    Probably a bit early, yes. Not to say there won't be sales, but most of the Chinese airlines only discount the next 3-4 months

  Batu Caves are incredible, for KL hotels we stayed in The Face Suites which were insanely cheap for something that felt so high end.

    Oh I researched those! I thought there must be something dodgy about that accomodation for how cheap/large the rooms were! Good to know you recommend them!

      To be fair, its Malaysia. The cost of living is not high by NZ standards. Going everywhere by Grab (Malaysia's Uber) is really affordable too

        Yes, but The Face Suits were next level cheap, e.g. 20% cheaper and 2-3x larger rooms.
