Guys - I've never played the game before so quick question. Do you complete the set to win or for a chance to win (aka go into a draw)?

    • It says "Collect a set to Win" in the Stash section of the app, I believe that means you get it?

I'm not into these games. They've made it awfully complicated. Wish they spent less on these things and gave us more instead.

BK does it more budget and better - spin and win, easy, lol.

      Until the spinning wheel broke….

      • +2

"Broke" or they ran out of budget, lol.

        • or just "cheapied"

        • It wasn't broken when I used it for days afterwards LOL

          • @nzmax: Yeah if you didn't quit the app when it worked, you could still spin it. But the stores will give you a sus look because no one else could spin for that day.

I agree, just tryna navigate these menus and it's needlessly complicated. Wonder if that's intentional so most people don't know how to redeem?

is there a timer on the card? i remember last time i had 15min to redeem or something.

    • Ah that explains wtf happened I did this earlier and now can't see it in the app its just gone.

  • What cards did everyone get? Just want to see if it's rigged lol

    • I got Leicester SQ.

    • Of course it's rigged, there was a doco or movie about it, can't remember the title. Anyways, has anyone ever won a food item? Redeemed several times during the last promo, never won any food.

It is not "rigged." You might want to watch that "doco" again.

Instant prizes are printed and issued out with the standard orders.

In the past, major prizes are set aside, several stores are drawn at random, and are visited by two security contractors (usually in the guise of visiting store managers/owners/something similar) who will have a stack of prize tickets to drop off. They drop them in the next to be used pile, hang around for a bit until they are used, ID that someone got the major prizes if possible, and leave. (Of course they may not have the major prizes - why there are always multiple stores chosen).

I'm probably safe to say at this point I've done this three times with instant win prize thingies (prior to apps) - two big fast food places and a big mall.

I am a bit doubtful you'd ever get a major prizes ticket from the random app ticket though - as this would mean that they'd have to set aside a certain number of them for the app, which would remove a lot of the randomness from it. Possible, though I thought they'd have had to mention this in the T&C

        • ahh ok, no I haven't watched it yet haha

I was kinda surprised how bad the app experience was.

  • Got Mayfair with this! Apparently there's only one Park Lane in the country though so wish me luck

*valid towards the purchase of any Allied desktop or laptop (only 1 voucher per desktop/laptop)

Their app has to be one of the worst. They have also blocked it being able to be used on older iOS devices, so you need a newer device to use the app. Apparently they are not doing very well now with falling sales, so guessing this doesn't help.

    • Yes it requires ios 16, while android its 10 which was released in 2019.

Last time we won food every visit and it put me off going as too many little things to redeem. We decided to use attraction tickets won for paintball and claimed three - but couldn't use together so never went as it was a long drive to get there. However first visit yesterday we won an attraction ticket and claimed jet boating in Taupo. Now prize says to value of $50, but this option is valued at $129 and we found this a couple of years back when we claimed black water rafting which was $145 at the time…so pays to check out and compare attraction prices. They attractions are better than last year.

Do see terms and conditions and you can see the table of things you can actually win, its off putting the actual numbers of things to give away.

    • Very off putting indeed, $50 Million worth of Gaming vouchers alone! Only catch is just a $1000 spend which im sure not all 500 000 winners will do but its the thought that counts

  • +2

Got a 100 dollar gaming voucher straight away, how good. Pity the store it's for only sells a few things below that price point, and it's all massively marked up aliexpress stuff…

**edit - they've removed access to all the acsessories on their site that are under 100 bucks, what a sham***

  • Got a free Sundae :)
