Has anyone used the discount referral link recently? I signed up via the referral link but didn't get a discount (new phone and didn't add credit card yet).

Are you using a different device, as well as a new number? I found that using a device that I've signed up for an account before on wouldn't get the referral discount, so you might need a different device ID. I also use mobile data when signing up (different IP I think?), a random near-by address, and a different name. Not sure if any of these are necessary, but it's been working for me. Had made close to ~50 accounts when the 3x$15 off $20 was running. Now when I make accounts I use the 50% off up to $20 off, https://www.cheapies.nz/node/47332 (code still working for me) since they got rid of the goated 3x$15 off.
Do you need to use a different payment method as well (Wise virtual cards)?
If you are using the referral links to sign up, like $10 off first 2 orders over $20, then yes. Though for the 50% off one that I linked, then no, you can use the same card.
(Note: Once the coupon has been applied, I change the address back to my actual address.)

My own referral code for 3 x $15 off was still working recently (every few weeks I get $45 credit on my account, the last credit was about 3 weeks ago). Unfortunately it expired on Cheapies and I didn’t have it written down
