[Back Order] Honey Whale K6 Electric Bike (48km/h, 20" Fat Tyre - 819wh, 1080W Peak Power Motor) $1,599 @ Honey Whale

Recently I happened to see them in Sylvia park. Their bikes are pretty cool, with large battery, water-resistant and decent price.
They also have a physical store.

Compare to the other brands that often posted on cheapies, this is obviously a much better choice. That is why I am posting it.

They also have some other models on their website.

  • What is a water resistant bike? You can't ride it in the rain? Those specs look pretty sus based on battery capacity and motor power.

    • Most of ebikes simply have NO water resistant rating.
Ninebot scooter is IPx4, so this one is better.
In my opinion, IPx5 means a basic guarantee that it has some treatment against water. But I will waterproof it myself, just like what I do on a boat.

You have to waterproof your BOAT !!??

This seems like a contradiction in terms lol. 🤣

Its probably not bad for the price.
But its not legal to ride on the road, the rear suspension linkage looks really underbuilt for anything off road and i sure wouldn't want to be going 48km/hr on a bike with no name mechanical disc brake.
