Looking for a 48"-55" TV for the spare room, so doesn't need to be anything special, but there don't appear to be any decent deals around currently.
Seems that The Warehouse, DickSmith/Kogan, and PB Tech are all offering a ~$600 55" but there isn't much better than that.

yeah if you're not in a hurry, you can wait until end of this month, end of next (Labour Day), or Black Friday. I've seen that Veon 50" go down to around $400-450
