Does anyone have any experience with how stringent Samsung are on physical damage for trade ins? I have some scuffing/scratching on my frame, which I assume would count as physical damage, but I've not that some other trade ins only refer to the glass of the phone and wondering if I might have a chance of getting this through as wear and tear.
That would be up to the individual assessor who works at Assurant who is outsourced by Samsung - I traded in a Samsung S23 ultra which had very minor surface scratches on the screen where you could only see it at an angle and was not visible with the screen turned on and that was accepted at full value. I've read stories about how they deducted $10 from the trade in value cause the IMEI was incorrect by 1 digit lol
