According to those t and c looks like trade a monopoly piece for any of:

2x Secret Recipe Chicken and Regular Chips
6x Chicken Nuggets and Regular Chips
2x Hot & Crispy Boneless and Regular Chips (at available stores)

Limited to one trade per transaction. Must make a purchase and in the same transaction, trade the Monopoly item for a freebie.

Maybe $5 zinger again tomorrow also as that was every Tuesday from memory?

PROMOTION

  1. The Promoter is Restaurant Brands Limited of 666 Great South Road, Greenlane, Auckland 1061, New Zealand (The Promoter). Entries should not be sent to the address of the Promoter.
  2. The Promotion commences at 10.00am on Tuesday 8th October 2024 and concludes at 4.00pm on Tuesday 8th October 2024 (Promotion Period).

ELIGIBILITY

  1. The Promotion is open to people 16 years and older (The Participant) within New Zealand. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The directors, management and employees (and their immediate families, including their children and other persons residing in their household) of the Promoter, their related entities, corporations or franchisees, are ineligible to participate in the Promotion.

HOW TO REDEEM

  1. Make a purchase of any value (Qualifying Purchase) during the Promotion Period, and in the same transaction exchange any board game item to receive your choice of one of three specified menu items (Freebie Item) at the point of purchase at participating KFC stores (Participating Stores), in store counter and drive through only.
  2. Participants may only redeem one Freebie Item per Qualifying Purchase. Participants may participate the promotion multiple times, provided that each entry is through a separate Qualifying Purchase and is made in accordance with the entry criteria set out in paragraph 4 . Not available with KFC Online or Kiosk Orders, nor purchases conducted via third party online food ordering and delivery platforms, such as Uber Eats and DoorDash.

FREEBIE ITEMS

  1. There are three menu items to choose from, while stocks last.
  • 2x Secret Recipe Chicken and Regular Chips
  • 6x Chicken Nuggets and Regular Chips
  • 2x Hot & Crispy Boneless and Regular Chips (at available stores)
  • Freebie Items are not transferable, changeable or redeemable for cash.
  1. No board game items will be accepted outside the Promotion Period. All board game items become the property of the Promoter.
  2. Neither the Promoter nor any entity associated with this promotion accepts responsibility for late, lost, or misdirected entries or submissions by a Participant.

GENERAL

  1. In the event that a Freebie Item is unavailable for any reason, Participating stores may in their sole discretion decide to provide an alternative item. No compensation will be paid to any person if unable to redeem a Freebie Item for any reason.
  2. The Promoter may refuse to award a Freebie Item if, in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion, the Participant has breached these terms and conditions or has gained an unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion.

    My interpretation is that this has nothing to do with McDonald's Monopoly.

    It literally means some money from a Monopoly board game set, or currency from another board game.

      If you dont have any goto a dollar store or the warehouse has them, just say they are from a boardgame if asked. Or I reckon you'd be able to get away with just making your own

      I saw the billboard near my house that says accept any tokens, which I'd assume that includes Macca's Monopoly. Wish KFC were a bit clearer, but I can see why they weren't allowed to say Macca's Monopoly.

      I feel that companies make these promotions knowing how few people would be willing to take the embarrassment of the part-time workers thinking you're insane upon trying to redeem this.

      I had a lady in front of me use a $500, $100 and a bunch of $50 notes to order six times. I didn't have the heart to tell her you could print out a sheet of $1's and just use that. I mean what are they even gonna do with all that shit at the end? Bin it?

        Printing out thnigs isn't easy for everyone. I'd need to go to a library to do it and pay the fee. The old Monopoly money I used cost me nothing. Also, as mentioned above, some print outs weren't accepted.

          Oh, I didn't see that comment about them not being accepted. Our KFC was pretty relaxed about the whole thing. It wasn't one per person, they did it one per item traded, so as long as you could keep swiping your card they were happy. They also let me use the popcorn chicken discount as well.

        So I got the $3 reg popcorn chicken through the coupon and then I got the monopoly 2 piece and chips item and then I was able to get the free chips and drink and then I gave them another monopoly money and asked for another 2 piece and chips and they said yo I got u, manager not looking so algds and then boom all for $3.
