  • Assuming cannot sign up to another Prime trial on same account?

    • Guess it depends on how long since your last trial. Mine was quite a few months ago and I was able to take advantage of the 30-day free trial this morning.

Sidenote: a few of you may also have $5 credit on your account from this ShopBack offer

If might be worth trying to contact support through the Amazon app before purchasing to see if you can get AUD$20 off as well thanks to this deal: $20 off $59 first time spend using the app

I needed something that was already much cheaper from Amazon AU a couple days ago, tried to apply the code in the app once without success (don't think it's valid for NZ users, or I purchased something through the app previously, not sure) and then initiated a chat. Got an AUD$20 credit after just saying I struggled using the code, no questions asked.

Took about 12 hours before I saw it in my account, amounted to ~$22 NZD off.

  • I followed these steps and tried to order an Alexa speaker but when I change my address from Australia to NZ at checkout it says it can't be shipped here 😔

    • You can't ship Alexa devices to NZ. Atleast that's what the case has been always, unless there are some exceptions.

      • That sucks. Cheers Ace

  • How does the warranty work

    • The 2 warranty claims I've had with Amazon they've sent me a courier ticket to send the item back, then offered me either a replacement or refund before it had even crossed the ditch.

  • IMO you are better of waiting for one of the models that can lift the mop

    • What does this mean? I want to upgrade my Xiaomi but am not interested in a mop at all. Seems about as useful as a pyrolytic oven. Does the mop feature push up the price or otherwise get in the way?

      • Newer models lift up the mop component when it detects carpet.

        • So this one just wetmops the carpet? Can I remove the mop?

          • @squareeyes: I believe you can even mark the areas not to mop, so that when mop attachment is ON, it won't go in that area. I have this on my cheaper Xiaomi model, it should be there for this model.

  • I wonder if the 15% cashback on cashrewards.com.au will work with this, sounds like a pretty sweet deal

  • does it transform?
