I got like 40pairs of ankle socks a few years back on some 1 day deal, I don't need more πŸ˜‚

        • lol

          • @jimpappa: Surprisingly they're very good socks, don't wear down like others do so easily.

If you buy the $150 mystery bag and use this coupon you'll get 4-5 items for $116 delivered, around $23 each. Value of the total package could be from $300-450. Only sizes xs, s ad 2xl left.

    • Has anyone bought one of these mystery bags? I want to know the feedback before I make my decision… My assumption is that they are all ugly items that people didn't want to touch.

      • +1

The review seems pretty high. And ugly is kinda in the name of the brand? lol

        • Oh I've bought some items from them before and I like them but there are some designs and graphic ts that I would never touch so that's what I am worried about πŸ˜…

      • Yeah I have 2 times before. They're all items in the latest season and it's not like they chuck in a blue top, red hoodie, white pants and a pink hat. They're actually color coordinated as if they put an outfit together for you.

I was happy with my mystery bags. Only thing I didn't like in my last one was the hat, but thats only because normal hats don't fit my fat head lol.

This goes to show the actual value of this slave made trash. Who cares about little slave kids anyway as long as we get our temu crap?

    • +2

They're turning kids into slaves just to make cheaper sneakers

    • +3

I agree that the non-sale items seem heavily marked up for what they are, though in my opinion it is not "trash".

I doubt there are "little slave kids" making these specific clothes, although I expect that's a hyperbole for poor worker pay/conditions. Unfortunately it's very difficult for the average person to shop ethically. Locally made clothing costs much more and usually uses fabric from countries with poor worker conditions and little care for environmental impact. The only reasonable approach I see is buying second hand, which works for individuals but is not a long term solution.

What approach to buying clothes and other things ethically do you take?

    • +3

Their clothes are great quality and this comment comes across as unnecessarily harsh. ILU is a good kiwi brand with good people involved. If you're trying to argue that their clothes are made with slave labour, just about anything you buy is produced in an ethically ambiguous way. At least here you're supporting a kiwi business.

      "Little slave kids"? Proof?
Where do you think your phone or even your undies are made?
Can you trace their manufacturing source and the labour working condition?

    Thanks OP!
