Air New Zealand are having a 'Lolly Scramble' sale today from 11am - 4pm, with new flight deals released each hour.
Obviously part of the Lolly Jar Sweetstakes campaign - but any insight on a sale like this? Eg likely destinations, date ranges?
Sounds like it could be a good opportunity for flights with Air NZ - but not holding my breath.

A couple of OK fares from Auckland to Tokyo and Los Angeles. Both are extremely limited in travel dates. And in like three weeks.
An ok fare from CHCH to the Gold Coast.
I'd take one of they weren't so limited. But mostly because I have Air NZ credit and an upgrade. (The last three times I went anywhere it was cheaper to pay a full cash fare with a other airline than Air NZ even after applying my credit!)
I wonder if some of the better offers/timings will be released at some later point in the day, as they are adding 'new deals every hour'.
There were some really good tickets for roundtrips to USA, like Akl-NYC/San Fran/LA/Houston for $899, New York sold out before 4pm though…
Anything for Singapore? Had a look at transfers to Egypt…over 3.3k economy return pp yikes!
Anything for Africa is best separated out into different legs, as adding nz as destinations seems to sky rocket the price. Any Asian hub airport will get you to return cheaply.
They're up now but eh… $899 return to Sydney? Really?
