I know this will suck to read but I feel morally obliged to raise it as someone who drank this sht for far too long.
It's not good for you and you're just giving your money to a corporation. If you have lots of caffeine you no longer feel the hit from it, and that same point goes for strong coffees too. I feel the real cheapies move is to save money by not becoming addicted to this, AND save the inevitable dental costs down the line too. Rant over, thanks for listening.

What a godawful cat pee tasting drink that was. I believe it was the first of these new energy drinks to be sold in mainstream stores throughout NZ. I was given a 1.5ltr bottle of it by the sales rep, this was back in the late 90's and I didn't know what an energy drink was, all I knew of energy drinks was Berrocca and Lucozade, so it being a hot day and me being a greedy bugger I drank the entire bottle in the space of about 90 minutes. I'm not saying it's the worst mistake I've ever made, but for someone who'd only ever drunk a couple of instant coffees in his entire life it was right up there. How I felt that night is how I imagine meth fiends feel after a 5 day binge.
