iPhone 13 128GB (Midnight) $849 + ($0 Shipping/ C&C/ in-Store) @ One NZ

90

A good deal for someone who wants an Apple iPhone and is not a power user. Will need to select the pay upfront option and device only if ordering online. Almost identical to iPhone 14 which retails for $1,199 at the moment.
Slightly cheaper than Noel Leeming, JB Hi-Fi, and PB Tech. Not sure if they will price match One NZ because of the margin on Apple products.

This is a pretty good one. Had a 13 as a work phone and really can’t fault them. Lots of nice to haves that it’s missing though. But your parents would never know !

If you don’t mind refurbished, Expert Infotech does the same phone for $664

Good deal - although you have to be careful with them a lot of the time - almost purchased on off them which was advertised as pristine/mint, and battery health was in the 80's

Had the same problem years ago when I bought a refurbished iPhone for my kids from 1-Day.
Battery was at 80% when I got it and took a lot of back and forward to get them to change it.
Wouldn't do a refurb again, even to save a few dollars.

        • just had the biggest run around with reebelo on a refurbished iPhone 12 Pro. Faulty microphone and speaker. Lesson learnt will definitely not buy from them again and will stick to a new unit.

Am going through a similar issue with a refurb laptop from PBTech - Grade A - and the device is all scratched up, broken screen and missing parts - wtf. Lesson learnt; refurb is just not worth it.

      • Good point.. I guess the “pristine” refers to the look of the phone only. They have a store with staff, so if I was going to get it now would probably need to call first and ask what is the top battery health one that they can give me

  • Na they suck up the margin as long as its in-stock. They have to per their T&C. Company hated me when i worked there… always price matching lol

tempting.. but still got iphone 11… that is heavy af.

  • Is this Esim only?, Thinking about an upgrade for a while, hopefully a good deal comes up soon.

All NZ iphones are esim capable and has 1 x physical sim slot. only the US models are esim only.

The iPhone SE 4th Gen. is expected to come out soon and rumoured to have a the latest processor, similar housing and screen as the 13 for about $720.

    • I think they usually release the SE model nearer the beginning of the year so to not eat into christmas new model iphone sales. But yes, rumours are that it will be a similar phone with a newer processor. But think it will be closer to 1k like the current SE. The current se is $850 so don't think it will be lower than that.

  • Are eSim phones from NZ compatible for use overseas, or are there restrictions etc? What are the actual differences between the eSims and.. "non-eSims" haha
