  Crazy that a PS5 Pro costs 110% more than this. You can buy 2 PS5's from this deal and have enough money left over to buy a bunch of 2nd hand games to play on them, or you can buy 1 PS5 Pro and then go find a scalper on Trade Me who will sell you a disk drive for another $300+ to put on it. Hopefully you don't want it to stand vertically or there's more money you need to fork out for a stand to put it on. It's nuts. It does come with a controller though, so that's a bonus.

    Dude the extra 5fps and stellar XL lumens rendering 3.0 is so worth the extra cost! You will literally cry tears of joy playing every enhanced game.

    I sold my ps4 3 weeks early and lined up to get the ps4 pro. PS5 pro, meh at best.

      Yeah the PS4 Pro and One X made sense last gen because everyone wanted 4k consoles so they could play them on their new shiny 4k tv's, and the base consoles only did 1080p. This gen I don't see a reason for this thing to exist. Not as if PS5 games look ugly or run terribly.

      I'm probably not the target audience for this thing though, I have a 4070 Super and still play all my games at 1440p.

    You're partially right, but this console is still better than a PS5 Pro because it actually has a disk drive.

    You can buy this for $655, a Lexar 2TB SSD expansion for PS5 for $179, and a PS Plus Extra 12 month Sub for $166 for $1000 total, and STILL be better off than any sucker out there playing games at 5FPS faster for an extra $379 on top!!!

    I also highly advise EB's trade and save deals. Picked up COD BLOPS6 for $49 for trading in 2 older PS5 games I didnt touch anymore, and just got the GTA trilogy for $11 for trading in a few games the other day, one of them was The Crew which isn't even playable anymore lol.
