Are there discounted gift cards you can purchase

I live in Australia and I’m a long term ozbargainer, (sister site)
Wondering if there are discounted prepaid visa and Mastercard you can purchase. Even supermarket and gas stations?

  Unlike Oz where between Wooliies and Coles they do discounted gift cards every week you don't tend to see it over this side of the Tasman unfortunately (as far as I know).

    Would you know if Costco NZ have gift cards?
    In Costco AU the gift cards are roughly 15% off, but membership is a killer, though there are hacks around this. Plus gift card range is small

      That I’m not sure.
      We only have Costco in Auckland at this stage (I’m in Christchurch). Hopefully someone else can answer that for you.

  Flybuys Store has some but I think only points can be used to redeem them.
