yep just temu and aliexpress item just at a much higher price
They also have 5off for a first order as a coupon code.
They've also confirmed on social media they are going their crate of crate again this year which they say will be their best ever so can imagine will be a huge blitz of what's left over. I really enjoyed getting Crates of Crap each year, last year's was soooo bad (crappy as advertised technically) but expired COVID tests and oximeters didn't quite hit their usual vibe.
Quite a few things are definitely from SheIn, Temu, AliExpress type thing (reverse image search is helpful) they do stock some kiwi brands etc but they look well and truly pillaged.
I've always liked shopping with Not Socks, my general rule of thumb is when you click into a product, just above the product pictures there's normally a brand hyperlink that will tell generally give you an idea who they source it from except if it's from SheIn, AliExpress etc it's normally blank. Some exceptions to that rule but i find it helpful.$10 says they're not closing down.
And if they are closing down, worth noting nothing you buy will have a warranty or customer service.
reminds me of Borat (i think?) where the store is called "Closing Down Sale"
Was it "Going out of business" on You don't mess with the Zohan?
Yes that's the one! Wrong movie haha and I got the store name wrong oops
Report them to the Commerce Commission if they don't actually close down

Still too pricy. All just Temu shit.
Temu stuff but overpriced. BAU prices seem proper hilarious
Yea none of that pricing seems like a legitimate closing down sale.
I still fondly remember the Dick Smith closing down sale - those were some proper bargains.
Positive potato: was $20, now $10.
It's $4.27 inc tax on aliexpress with free shipping over $16.looks like junk to me, way too expensive for these
This one was reported in the media. But yes, in the early days it was not a bad place. Different to 1-day but similar back story really. Now people are used to, and comfortable with ordering from overseas directly stores like this will always struggle.

Looks like what you can find on Temu..
