I have just opened my new online store selling 3D Printer Filament

I have an exclusive cheapies coupon for 10% off until this Sunday (single use only). It should stack with the 5% off if you spend over $99 too (but not the 5% off newsletter code)

To get the title price ($19.67) you need to have over $99 in your cart, otherwise it is $20.70 with the code

Shipping prices are calculated at checkout and are pretty good for the Lower North Island (for example 18 rolls to Wellington Urban is only $10)
For the South Island… not so good. But I'm looking into it. (if anyone has any suggestions let me know)

    I'd love to try your filaments some time but I almost exclusively use ASA. Would be nice if you had more colours for ASA available.

    I use ASA with my Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro, but occasionally high speed PLA for quick prototyping.

      Unfortunately Kingroon only make ASA in Black, White and Gray at the moment.
      I am looking at getting other brands of ASA for more colours, ASA is also my go to.
      Do you find a big difference between High speed PLA and regular? I haven't tried HS-PLA but never had speed issues with normal PLA

        That's good to hear, it has been kind of annoying trying to get more colour variety for ASA. Your ABS selection as it is does look pretty good. I made an ABS frisbee that I leave outside in the garden and have still yet to find evidence of degradation. But ASA is preferred because why not?

        On HS-PLA, I'm no expert I'm just your regular hobbyist. The difference for me wasn't the 50% extra speed it offered, it was just that it seemed to work better on the budget hobbyist printer that I have, perhaps something to do with its tolerance with temperature.
        I actually print HS with normal speeds, set and forget. With basic PLA (2 rolls that came with the printer + gifts from friends) I have to leave the door and lid open, and print at half speed, which doesn't really encourage me to use this over ASA or ABS.

          It's pretty standard to have to open the door/take panels off for PLA if you have a chamber.
          I will have to do some testing with HS-PLA though, it sounds good.
          But yea if you can print ABS and ASA I see no reason to use PLA unless you are making colourful toys haha

    Edit: any chance you could put profiles, for your filaments, for common printers on your site? It'd be pretty helpful for noobs like me.

      The default profiles in the slicer usually work well. It usually doesn't differ much between the brands as long as they are the same type.
      Especially with a nice printer like the X1C.
      If you (or anyone) has issues printing with my filaments I am happy to try trouble shoot.
      But yes I will be updating the descriptions soon with more info.

        I've really enjoyed it as a first printer. Hard to go wrong at the $320 I got it for. Will be upgrading soon to a P1S for the increased speed, quality and enclosure.
