How good is One NZ Fibre Starter Broadband?

I have been on ONE NZ HFC, which is reasonably good. I am thinking of switching to a fibre connection, with One NZ Fibre Starter?

I am wondering how these compare. All I do is browse, work, stream, no gaming. Any help would be much appreciated!

Fibre services are generally very reliable regardless of provider in my experience. I am not with Vodafone but have Fibre starter (50/20) with another provider for over a year now & find it quite satisfactory for a 4 person household. We were previously on a Fibre 300/100 service.

We use it pretty well as you describe - sometimes streaming HD to multiple devices with no problems.

It will likely be fine for the uses you describe. The exception would be if you need to upload or download (to a less extent) very large files quickly.

Note the fibre starter upload speed is either 10Mbps or 20Mbps depending on the local Fibre company for your area.

you might as well have a look at slingshots 300/100 promos $65p/m 12 month contract. I see One NZ is increasing their monthly price to 65 p/m from Feb 2025.
