  • Is anyone able to cash out the money to your bank account? I'm quite new with showback. I tried and am still having difficulties cashing out the cashback. I've been trying three times without success. I checked and confirmed that my bank details are correct (account name and account details are correct).
    Withdrawal status is completed but money is not in my bank account.

    • Cashed out $500 so far, takes about 3-7 business days from once you request a cash out and get the email for it

    • I haven't done it in a few weeks but have never had an issue. What happens to the money? Does it just disappear? Maybe reach out to ShopBack customer service team.

    • I just buy amazon gift cards with the balance, not cash but close enough and pretty much instant. Although I miss out on credit card points this way…

    • I'm with ANZ and was having issues, too. Firstly, make sure your bank number doesn't have any hyphens or spaces.

      But the part that got me was where they ask for the name on the account. I was putting in the name on my account (makes sense, right?) which ANZ displays in the form of "MR FIRST MIDDLE LAST". What they want is your name with the bank, which for me was just "Firstname Lastname".

  • Does anyone know if the cashback gets adjusted down if they don't fulfil enough of your order? Last time it was 20% cashback and I spent $101 and then New World only filled $80 of my order but the max of $20 cashback is still sitting there. Will it get adjusted down?

    I'm thinking of ordering the same thing they couldn't fill last time and seeing what happens, but assuming they don't fill it again, I don't want the cashbacks to be adjusted downwards…

      The website states "partial returns or exchanges, we'll pro-rate the Cashback as an adjustment".
      However unsure about unfilled orders.

      This was purchased on 14 December, delivered on 15 December. Hasn't been updated yet. Still showing the full $20 cashback. So, I'm hopeful it might not get adjusted down…

      This time, I was going to do a couple orders for pickup on the weekend and see what happens. It's not the end of the world if they get adjusted downwards as New World is generally about 10-30% more expensive than Pak N Save even on items on special.

  • So I'm new to Shopback. Installed it a while ago but forgot to use it.
    I read somewhere that the cost of the rebate doesn't include the GST portion or delivery fees which is fair enough.

    However, can you scan a QR code at New World in store?

    I also read somewhere that the correct credit card must be linked but I can't find anywhere to enter these details under Accounts.

    • Doesn't matter what card is linked to your account. Unsure about your QR question, but it's for online purchases only.

  • not really related to this deal but how long does it take for purchases to show as 'pending' or any status other than 'clicked'?
    I've made a couple purchases through shopback (and made sure the chrome plugin showed as activated) but have never seen a status other than clicked lol

  • Does this only work for orders made and collected on the day?

    • You can schedule orders for later, but this upsized cashback is already expired now.
