  • Been on their slowest plan at $20 p/m and it's great a part from visiting rural family.
    Then it is no signal.

    • +1

I believe their coverage is the same as Kogan, on One NZ's network.

  • Any noticeable speed difference between those two plans?

    • When i tried it on the $1 offer i was getting 800mbps, skightly more than the 50 the middle plan ks capped at 🤣

      • That's pretty great. Thanks!

  • Just swapped over, great deal here!!! I got a 200mps on my speed test!

    • That's a fantastic speed, I wonder if they'd allow using their sims in a router. 200mbps for 40 a month is a steal.

      • 25 a month!!!

        • How if that plan is capped to 50mbps?

    • What plan did you get for that kind of speed?

  • I might have to switch over to the $25 deal if the basic package doesn't get one before the 9th Feb. My 12 months is up in March I think an would rather not pay the $40 per month.

I signed up to the $25 50Mbps plan, got full 5G speed at first for a few hours (like 800+ Mbps) but now has settled to the 50Mbps speed cap for day.
Works great, runs on One Nz

    • What's the 50 mbps speed like compared to normal? Do you wait for it to load much etc? Does YouTube etc play good?

      • unless you are downloading 100Gb files on the regular or hot-spotting 2-3 people who are all doing high intensity bandwidth things like watching 4k video at once you wont notice it.

  • Will I be able to retain my existing number if I'm changing from Kogan?

    • +1

You always have the option to retain your number or get a new one when changing provider.

  • I signed up for this a week or so ago when the deal was unlimited data for 12 months, capped at 50Mbps.

Went back today to sign my Mum up for same deal and once it takes you through to the purchase page on Mighty Ape, the details are changed so the UNLIMITED parts (data, and calls/txts) are now "for one month* "

They should really stop changing the rules to these promotions mid-promotion, or at least promote these changes to the details as much as they are advertising the plans themselves.

    • It's still advertised as 12 months on the main page. Maybe give them a ring to confirm?

    • I'm pretty sure it's just because it's a monthly plan charge, i.e. you're not paying for the full 12 months in advance. They don't even offer any limited data/call/txt plans as far as I know.

I signed up this week and it's been pretty painless to setup.
