    List date at PriceMe
    12 April 2023

I personally would spend a bit more and get a wash/drier combo
    Eg.

Just be careful with these types of washer/dryer combos, they can, or did in the past, use a lot of water during the drying process, worth doing research into before purchasing.

I would really not do this.

The combos are 99% horrible compared to individual.

It's also not a heat pump dryer in there.. so will use around 10x the power.

    • If you got space for separate washer and dryer, that is the best option. Washer dryer combos are not optimized option for washing or drying either.

    According to AI:

"The Bosch Series 4 8kg Heat Pump Dryer (model WTH83001AU) was listed on PriceMe New Zealand on 12 April 2023.
    PRICEME

While the exact release date isn't specified, this listing date suggests that the model became available in early 2023."

    (If I got your question right… 🤷🏻‍♂️)

    Cheers!

    What's your purpose here?

Cause a heat pump dryer is useful if you absolutely can't vent outside. And that's really about it. Otherwise they are more complex, have more components to fail, will wear out faster, and are much harder to fix even something basic like a broken belt/worn bearing.

They also take so much longer to dry that you will save little, if anything, on power.

A cheap $250 outdoor vented (or better for repairs, A F&P one) will do you much better in 95% of cases in both power usage and long term running/repair costs. Using the same tech they've been using for 30+ years.

    • Running costs
Heat pump clothes dryers are generally more energy-efficient than vented conventional dryers

    • Just because something is "Simpler" does not mean it is better.

From my XP re day-to-day usage, heat pump dryers are so much better. (Be it running costs, noise, the way clothes come out, no worry re venting etc etc)
