    We barely have stores in the South Island. Most sites are selfserve.

    And the ones we do are (in my experience) the ones that charge as much or more than the "big brand" stations.

  We have one of these in a weird location locally, ended up being a handy spot when we were heading on a road trip. Got a pie from there and must say it was top tier. Z and BP have some pretty decent pies, but this was more like a high end bakery pie. Not cheap though.

    I think the pies are from the Rangiora bakery. They won the 2024 supreme pie award for some beef pie.

      Would make sense, a teir above the usual petrol station pie.
