90

It's back again. Change the country to US, zip: 94661 to remove gst/vat. GST is not included in cashback. Only Basic plan would be valid for cashback.

Eligible for new NordVPN customers only.

Cashback is calculated and paid on the advertised cost of the plan only. It will exclude upsold products, GST, other taxes, credit card or PayPal surcharges.

The transaction sale value reports to us in USD and is subject to currency conversion. Final cashback value is based on the exchange rate at the time of approval.

Cashback is ineligible on the following:

  • Upsold products such as NordPass & NordLocker.
  • Purchases using coupon codes not listed on Cashrewards.
  • Purchases made with Crypto currency.
  • Purchase of gift cards or use of gift cards for full or partial payment.
  • Purchase that are cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded.
  • GST, other taxes and delivery fees.
  • Fraudulent transactions.
  • Purchases using any type of discount which lowers price advertised on the Merchant site, including but not limited to employee discounts, student discounts and price-matching.

Upsold products like NordPass & NordLocker are ineligible for cashback. Cashback is only eligible on the VPN service within plans.

  • Got mine last time, about 3 month turn around for the Cashback, tracks within the hour.

  • It says "New Year’s deal: Get 70% off NordVPN's 2-year plan"
    Is that the correct one?

If I understood correctly, you purchase the 70% off plan and that cost will be rewarded as cashback which works out 100% cashback in the end.
($81.36USD paid upfront with current Save 70% off deal + Zipcode) and this amount gets rewarded into your Cashrewards account.

    • When I bought mine it was 70% discount on the Nord website.
You can just ignore it since you get 100% cashback on what you actually spend so long as you get the cheapest basic plan.
Remember to CANCEL subscription renewal because Nord will try and charge you full price in 2027 when the current sub is up.
I cancelled mine immediately and still got the cashback as you should.

    • Nord vpn always has a 60-80% discount.

Cashrewards is offering 100% discount on top (usually offering less). So regardless of what ever you pay (excluding fees/taxes) after the 70% off, you get back provided you use their affiliate link and a browser extension (such as Honey) doesn't hijack it.

I'll use whole numbers juat as en example:

      Nord = $200
Minus 70% = you pay $60 (unless you forget to change country/zip code, then higher).

Cashrewards 100% Cashback = $60 back after a few months.

  • Thanks, gst excluded price is $81.36USD for the Basic plan after 70% off

    • Use wise or similar card with low foreign exchange charge, so as to save on those pesky fees. Remember cashrewards converts USD to AUD so you will lose some amount on currency conversion.

      • Thanks, I've got a Wise card with some money in it, but nz dollars. Do I need to convert to USD before paying at Nord or just use that CC number and Wise will do the conversion in the background?

        • +1

Just use the CC and let wise do the conversion.

  • I use pia vpn because you can open a port for torrents. Mine is coming up for renewal next week. Will probably try a cashback deal.

    • +1

PIA comes up for 100% cashback semi regularly (seems to alternate with nord vpn) so if you like it keep an eye out
Seems to be going downhill a bit with increasingly virtual servers (doesn't spoof location correctly a lot) since they merged several years back - not too much of an issue depending on your use
Personally Im looking at trying nord as my next vpn when my sub ends in August - either way no harm done with the 100% cash backs on both all the time

  • Anyone know if we can 'order and pay' for the subscription today but "activate" in couple of months time?
Asking as still got few months left from previous Nord 2year subscription..

    • Don't think so
