This, I have QC15 [plugged into desktop] and QC35 II [gym/travel] and I'd never travel again without good noise cancelling headphones, and particularly ones that don't squish my ears. They nicely sit entirely inside the cups and don't get tiring.
I'd recommend the corded 15s, though, for stationary activity like desktop use, rather than the 35s. Good corded, noise cancelling headphones from the days of old are dime a dozen used these days, since a majority of people can't use them anymore with their phones, and you can get replacement pads from AliExpress.
I think I paid like $15 for my QC15s.
I have the QC35 II also, and they are great.
I also use equipo to get replacement ear cushions as can get them for like $25
Might give them a go. One good thing re bose is that they seem really good in their "If you don't like it then send it back for a full refund". I did that with the sleep things they did and were great about it.
